Really good local shop. Quick to take care of my car issues and fast with getting the parts needed. Handled my warranty policy with ease and got my car back within same day. I left a ton of stuff in my car I even think I left my go pro and nothing was stolen or unaccounted for (as per another reviewer). Seemed like good people. Good experience. Recommend.

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would! They are the most generous people I have come across in a while! My family is quite far away from New Haven as a whole seeing as we live in Buffalo New York. My little sister is a freshman in college at Albertus Magnus and with her brain being over loaded with adjusting to life as a college student 7 hours away from her family, hockey, taking all her finals and preparing to come home for winter break she made the mistake of being parked on the street during street cleaning and her car was towed! We had looked on the New Haven portal to see where her car was and the company that was listed online was incorrect and didn’t have her car. We were trying everything we could from far away to find her car for hours. I stumbled across Megills and figured I’d give it a shot and see if they have her car. As no surprise to me just as everywhere else we had called they didn’t have it. What was a surprise was how incredibly helpful Timmy was! I explained the situation and confirm with the advice he had given me. What I didn’t know was that he was going to assist in helping find the car himself! Within minutes he called me back telling me he found it and where she needed to go! He went above and beyond what he needed to! Of all the companies we spoke to he was the only one to reach out a helping hand and we are forever grateful for his kindness! With all of that my sister got her car back and is bringing it in to Megills tomorrow so we can make sure she gets home for break and back to school safely! It’s people like this that remind you there are still good genuine people in this world! He’s gained a new customer and the trust of my family and I know my sister will recommend Megills to fellow teammates, classmates and friends she makes during her next 4 years in New Haven! Thank you again from my sister my family and I!

Saved the day! I broke down in the dark, in the cold, in an unfamiliar city. The dealership wanted to charge me 3 times what Megill's charged me. They went out of their way to help me out, do the repair, and get me back on the road for my final leg of my trek from Florida to New Hampshire. The kindness of strangers is a real thing. Megill's fixed my car affordably and were kind through the process. Even fed me lunch and calmed me down in a very stressful situation. The kind of business we all should support!

Visited this location to get a new registration done. There was issues with my paperwork which made me think it wasn't gonna happen but luckily they we're able to help me fix the issue. Had a positive experience. Highly recommend.

I definitely recommend Megill’s! My father and mother in law have purchased cars from Megill’s in the past and they also had a positive experience! My car basically died and I came to Megill’s and bought a Nissan Altima for a great price! Everything was smooth and easy! Very happy customer!

How good can experience be when your car is towed in front of your home. Its a mistake that you made that caused it. Rats, ya know? Well, what do you do but start walking and solve the problem you've created. Typically the amount of road blocks that'll be placed in front of you bye, bye folks behind the counter at a tow company will be numerous. That is not the case at Megills. The folks behind the counter returned the courtesy I gave them and helped me get my van back. Being generally understanding of service employees and their role in the industry will sometimes get you to a solution far easier than yelling will.
